About
To gauge interest in availing a personal loan, an email was triggered to Razorpay’s selected pool of merchants. The email was targeted mainly to freelancers and small business owners.
approach
A fresh, bold design was applied to the email to distinctly stand apart from usual marketing, product and transactional emails. The then-newly refreshed brand colors and language were also experimented with.
results
The email was A/B tested with version 1 performing better than version 2. The email resulted in 8.1% CTR, much higher than the company-wide average of ~2%.
